While I don’t generally photograph weddings, this was one I couldn’t say no to! You see, there are many connections between Nathan’s family and mine. Over the years, our families have become friends. First through the hockey world and then off the ice. It even grew to the point that Nathan would occasionally babysit my kids! But beyond that, we also have a shared love for the Toronto Maple leafs, which is sometimes a hard thing to be, living in Ottawa!
When I first heard the news of Nathan and Sarah’s engagement, I was thrilled. I had seen their relationship grow, and you just had a feeling you knew where it was going. But when they asked if I would consider photographing their wedding, I was even more excited!
Unfortunately, like most things in 2020, Sarah & Nathan’s wedding has been postponed, but that doesn’t mean the excitement has been diminished. We are looking forward to celebrating their marriage next summer! But in the meantime, we were able to go out and capture their love with some engagement photos!
