I’ve seen these kids grow right before my eyes, photographing each of them every year since they were newborns! Its a privilege to know that mom and dad trust me to capture their family memories. On top of that, I love to hear what they’ve been up to in the last year, what activities they are interested in and to witness their family dynamic evolve over time.

I was honoured to photograph K, all glammed up and ready to celebrate her high school career, achievements and interests. I’m so glad she wanted to take the time to commemorate her senior year with a photo session. The time just flies by and she will have these images to look back on forever.

Waiting for your newborn baby to arrive is the ultimate test of patience and forces you to slow down.
You wait long months to snuggle them, kiss them, love them, so when they arrive it is like exhaling and realizing the wait is finally over.
So many people were anticipating the birth of Baby B and now that he is here, the moments are being cherished and he is being loved on by a very grateful mom and dad.

This saying hits home for a lot of parents, but for me, it all came rushing at me when photographing the S Family earlier this week. I photographed them when the girls were just little, but when mom pointed out that it was 9 years ago, I almost fell over! It only seemed like a year or two ago, but here were two young ladies in front of me, not toddlers!
We had a wonderful evening catching up, chasing the sun and updating their family photos. Maybe next time it won’t be 9 years later!
